Take a minute and think back on why you are involved in sustainable agriculture. Who are the people who opened up your eyes? Who motivated you to get involved, to take action? Was there a specific professor, farmer, teacher, or community activist who made a difference in your understanding of sustainable agriculture?

For this year’s annual conference, we would like to both honor and learn from those educators who helped to shape your understanding of the world and sustainable agriculture. The planning committee would like to invite some of the nominees to share their approaches to education in experiential workshops during the conference.

You may enter more than one educator for this honor. However, because we are hoping to learn from the people who have influenced you, the honorees will be selected from nominees who are planning to attend the conference.
